29 CFR 1910.305(g)(2)(iii):Flexible cords and cables shall be connected to devices and fittings so that strain relief is provided that will prevent pull from being directly transmitted to joints or terminal screws. a. On or about and prior to June 14, 2022, at the Coating Line 2 phosphate tank, the electrical power supply for the Vanton pump motor had damaged strain relief and was pulled apart from the strain relief component fixture at the opening into the motor housing. This condition results in employee exposure to an electrical contact hazard and increased risk for electrocution. b. On or about and prior to June 14, 2022, near the Coating Line 2 phosphate tank, the electrical power supply for the heater booster had damaged strain relief at the floor level mounted junction box . This condition results in employee exposure to an electrical contact hazard and increased risk for electrocution. c. On or about and prior to June 14, 2022, at the Mill Line 2 phosphate tank, the electrical power supply for the temporary heater had damaged strain relief and was pulled apart from the strain relief component fixture at the opening into an unmounted junction box. This condition results in employee exposure to an electrical contact hazard and increased risk for electrocution.
