29 CFR  1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems.   Location: 30 Ellish Pkwy, Spring Valley, NY 10977  a) On or about June 10th, 2022, employees were exposed to an approximate 10ft fall hazard while working on the unfinished second floor of a new building with no  guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems.  b) On or about June 10th, 2022, an employee was exposed to an approximate 10ft fall hazard while walking in and out of the building through an opening  of about 6-ft by 8-ft on the floor that has a drop of about 10-ft to the building basement.   Valley Framers LLC was previously cited for violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard, 29 CFR  1926.501(b)(1), which is contained in OSHA Inspection number 1460634. In regards to inspection number 1460634, Citation 1, Item 1, group a, was issued on 02/20/2020 to a work place located at 515 N Macquesten Pkwy, Mount Vernon, NY 10552. The citation became final order on 03/17/2021.
