29 CFR  1910.107(b)(10): Fixed lighting units were not used as the source of illumination for spray booths when spraying areas were illumination through glass panels or other non-combustible transparent materials:  (a)Lifetime Steel Industries, L.L.C at 5680 South Highway 79 Building A3 in Rapid City, SD 57702: On or about and at times prior to July 7, 2022 the employer did not ensure that employees were protected from fire hazards in that the fixed lights of the paint booth were not covered by panels that effectively isolated the spraying area from the area in which the light unit was located, were made of a noncombustible materials and were protected from breakage. This condition exposed employees to fire hazards when working in the facility.
