29 CFR 1928.57(a)(11): Where a moving machinery part presented a hazard during servicing or maintenance, the engine was not stopped, the power source was not disconnected, and all machine movement was not stopped before servicing or maintenance was performed, except where the Employer could establish the following in 1928.57(a)(11)(i-iii): The employer did not sure ensure that manure technicians fully complied with the requirements of the employer's LOTO program which required the conveyors in the manure pit to be shut down prior to employees entering the manure pit to scrape manure from the bottom of the pit onto the conveyors.
