29 CFR 1910.132(a):Protective equipment was not used when necessary whenever hazards capable of causing injury and impairment were encountered: (a) On or about June 13, 2022, 655 Drive, Lawrenceville, GA (Injection Molding Machine #9) - Employees were exposed to struck-by hot plastic/thermal hazard, while attempting to remove the hot plastic that was clogging the sprue from inside the injection molding machine, the employer did not require employees to wear the proper personal protective equipment including eye protection, face shield, arm sleeves, hand protection, while performing this task.
