29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b): a) Second Floor - Employee standing at a window opening that was 66 inches wide with a sill height of 26 inches was exposed to an approximate fall hazard of 11'4", on or about 06/23/2022. b) Second Floor - Employees working near an unguarded doorway opening that was approximately 41 inches wide was exposed to an approximate fall hazard of 11'4", on or about 06/23/2022. In accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19(d), abatement certification is required for this violation (using the Certification of Corrective Action Worksheet).

29 CFR 1926.503(a)(1): The employer did not provide a training program for each employee potentially exposed to fall hazards to enable each employee to recognize the hazards of falling and the procedures to be followed in order to minimize these hazards: a) Job Site - Employees that were performing remodeling and exposed to a fall hazard of approximately 11 feet were not provided with fall protection training by the employer, on or about 06/23/2022. In accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19(d), abatement certification is required for this violation (using the Certification of Corrective Action Worksheet).
