Employees of construction contractors working on-site were exposed to hydrogen sulfide from manure pumped in and stored at the facility. B.C. Organics LLC did not develop or implement methods to inform the construction contractor employers of the presence of hydrogen sulfide at the facility or on the precautionary measures necessary to protect the contract employers' employees from hydrogen sulfide when it escaped Digester #13.
