29 CFR 1926.451(c)(2)(v): The employer used forklifts to support scaffold platforms without ensuring that the entire platform was attached to the fork and that the forklift was not moved horizontally while the platform was occupied. a) On or about June 28, 2022, at the previously addressed inspection site, a JLG Skytrack telehandler forklift was in the raised position with sheets of plywood resting on the forks. Employees worked from the sheets of plywood (platform) when making cuts to the plywood. The plywood was not attached or secured to the forks of the JLG Skytrack telehandler, exposing employees to falls and hazards associated with falls. Abatement certification is required for this item in accordance with the requirements of 29 CFR 1903.19(c).
