Employees working in the automotive repair shop were exposed to electrical and fire hazards when working in the vicinity of the circuit breaker junction box without an approved cover. 29 CFR  1910.305(b)(1)(i): Conductors entering cutout boxes, cabinets, or fittings were not protected from abrasion, and openings through which conductors enter were not effectively closed.  a) Jobsite located at 9909 Northeast Ave, Philadelphia, PA: The employer did not ensure conductors entering junction box were protected from abrasion. Employees working in the automotive repair shop were exposed to electrical and fire hazards when working in the vicinity of the metal circuit breaker junction box, which contained energized wires entering through cutouts without grommets or abrasion protection.   Condition observed on June 24, 2022.
