29 CFR 1910.28(b)(11)(ii): The employer did not ensure that each flight of stairs having at least 3 treads and at least 4 risers is equipped with stair rail systems and handrails as described in 29 CFR 1910.28 Table D-2-Stairway Handrail Requirements: a) Diablo Warehouse, where the stairway to the second-floor storage area was not equipped with one stair rail system with handrail on the open side and one handrail on the enclosed side. The stair width measured 48 inches. The National Park Service was previously cited for a violation of this Occupational Safety and Health standard 29 CFR 1910.28(b)(11)(ii), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1446320, citation no. 1, item no. 2, and was affirmed as a final order on February 10, 2020, with respect to a workplace at Coupeville, WA.

The National Park Service was previously cited for a violation of this Occupational Safety and Health standard 29 CFR 1910.141(a)(3)(i), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1446320, citation no. 1, item no. 3, and was affirmed as a final order on February 10, 2020, with respect to a workplace at Coupeville, WA.
