29 CFR 1926.1053(b)(4): Where portable step-ladders were used for purposes other than the purpose for which they were designed: (a) On or about June 29, 2022, at 200 Fourth Street Minto in North Dakota, employees who were engaged in foundation pouring used step-ladders designed to be used in the open and braced position, the ladders were used in the closed position while employees ascended and descended from the excavation located on the westside of the expansion of the existing structure.
