29 CFR 1926.416(a)(1): Employees were permitted to work in proximity to electric power circuits and were not protected against electric shock by de-energizing and grounding the circuits or effectively guarding the circuits by insulation or other means: The employer is failing to protect employees from electrical hazards. This was most recently documented on June 24, 2022 at the jobsite located at 10234 Marion Park Drive, Kansas City, Missouri when the employer failed to ensure or require overhead lines be deenergized, grounded, or other protective measures were in place to protect employees from electric shock. An employee suffered electrical burns when equipment he was working around came into close proximity of a 161KV bus line.
