29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1):Each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems. A) RSCI construction site south east corner: On or about June 21, 2022, and at times prior employees were exposed to fall hazards of 7 feet to the ground below while performing chipping and grinding operations on the concrete structure and while accessing and egressing the concrete ramp which contained an incomplete guardrail system. The guard railing around the concrete ramp was missing a top guard rail. B) RSCI construction site south west corner: On or about June 21, 2022, and at times prior employees were exposed to fall hazards of 7 feet to the ground below while performing chipping and grinding operations on the concrete structure and while accessing and egressing the concrete ramp which contained an incomplete guardrail system. The guard railing was missing a mid-rail.
