29 CFR 1926.451(b)(2): Except as provided in paragraphs (b)(2)(i) and (b)(2)(ii) of this section, each scaffold platform and walkway shall be at least 18 inches (46 cm) wide. a) Lot #170 Caraway Drive, Niceville, FL; On or about July 6, 2022, employees were exposed to 6.75 and 8.5 feet fall hazards in that the employer allowed employees to work from job-made scaffold which was not fully planked.

29 CFR 1926.1053(b)(13): The top or top step of a stepladder shall not be used as a step. a) Lot #170 Caraway Drive, Niceville, FL; On or about July 6, 2022, the employer exposed employees to 6 feet (and greater) fall hazards to next lower level in that employees were allowed to ascend/descend a 6 foot folding ladder to access the next upper working level (a job-made scaffold surface of 6.75 feet above concrete porch and 8.5 feet above ground surface) as the ladder's top step was used at approximately 1 foot below the scaffold.
