29 CFR 1910.212(a)(1): The employer did not ensure that one or more methods of machine guarding was provided to protect the operator and other employees in the machine area from hazards such as those created point of operation, rotating parts, and flying chips: a) Weld Shop, on or about 7/7/2022: Employees use a Jet Band Saw to cut angle iron and the unused portion of the blade on the left side was not guarded. b) Weld Shop, on or about 7/7/2022: Employees use a Cincinnati Drill Press to drill holes in metal and was not provided with a chuck and tool guard.
