29 CFR 1910.212(a)(1): One or more methods of machine guarding was not provided to protect the operator and other employees in the machine area from hazards such as those created by point of operation, ingoing nip points, rotating parts, flying chips and sparks: (a) On or about July 7, 2022, and at times prior, employees working at the host employer site (AMP Robotics Corporation at 11175 E 55th Ave. in Denver, CO) were exposed to amputation hazards while operating equipment and cleaning near conveyors in the production area. In-running nip points on rollers underneath conveyor C1B were not guarded. (b) On or about July 7, 2022, and at times prior, employees working at the host employer site (AMP Robotics Corporation at 11175 E 55th Ave. in Denver, CO) were exposed to amputation hazards while operating equipment and cleaning near conveyors in the production area. In-running nip points on rollers underneath conveyor C7 were not guarded. (c) On or about July 7, 2022, and at times prior, employees working at the host employer site (AMP Robotics Corporation at 11175 E 55th Ave. in Denver, CO) were exposed to amputation hazards while operating equipment and cleaning near conveyors in the production area. In-running nip points on rollers underneath conveyor C27 were not guarded. (d) On or about July 7, 2022, and at times prior, employees working at the host employer site (AMP Robotics Corporation at 11175 E 55th Ave. in Denver, CO) were exposed to amputation hazards while operating equipment and cleaning near conveyors in the production area. A pinch point on the head pulley of the C29 conveyor was not guarded.
