29 CFR  1926.1053(a)(3)(i): Rungs, cleats, and steps of portable ladders were not spaced not less than 10 inches apart, nor more than 14 inches apart, as measured between center lines of the rungs, cleats, and steps:  a) 932 Columbia Ave, Cape May, NJ - The employer did not ensure that the job-made ladder rungs were at least 10 inches and no more than 14 inches apart, the rungs on the job-made ladder measured approximately 22 inches apart from center line of the rungs, thus exposing employees to a fall hazard. This condition was observed on or about July 19, 2022.

29 CFR  1926.501(b)(14):The employer did not ensure that each employee working on, at, above, or near wall openings where the outside bottom edge of the wall opening was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels and the inside bottom edge of the wall opening was less than 39 inches above the walking/working surface, were not protected from falling by the use of a guardrail system, a safety net system, or a personal fall arrest system:  a) 932 Columbia Ave, Cape May, NJ - Employees exposed to fall hazards in that the employer failed to ensure that  a guardrail was positioned at the wall openings for windows. This condition was observed on or about July 19, 2022.  The Agnes Carpentry, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard CFR 1926.501(b)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1321211, citation number 01, item number 002 and was affirmed as a final order on August 30, 2018, with respect to a workplace located at 1300 Betty Lane, Ewing, NJ 08628.  The Agnes Carpentry, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard CFR 1926.501(b)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1298218, citation number 01, item number 001 and was affirmed as a final order on June 15, 2018, with respect to a workplace located at 1400 Betty Lane, Ewing, NJ 08628.  The Agnes Carpentry, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard CFR 1926.501(b)(13) , which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1297753, citation number 01, item number 001 and was affirmed as a final order on June 15, 2018, with respect to a workplace located at 6504 Pleasure Ave, Sea Isle City, NJ 08243.
