29 CFR 1910.134(i)(5)(iii): The compressor's sorbent bed and filters were not maintained and replaced or refurbished periodically as instructed by the manufacturer: a) On or about 7/22/22, at facility, for the employee conducting sand blasting operations. The employee was required to wear a supplied air system while sandblasting tractor trailers was supplied air from a Sullair S-energy 7500 compressor. The employer did not replace or refurbish the sorbent bed and filters as instructed by the manufacturer.

29 CFR 1910.134(i)(7): Oil-lubricated compressor(s) were used to supply breathing air with only high-temperature alarm(s) and the air supply was not monitored at intervals sufficient to prevent carbon monoxide in the breathing air from exceeding 10 ppm: (a) On or about 7/22/2022, at facility, for the employee performing sandblasting operations and required to wear a supplied air system while sandblasting tractor trailers. The air was supplied from a Doosan compressor not monitored for carbon monoxide levels. The employer did not install an inline carbon monoxide detector.
