29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems. a) Jobsite : 1919 Chestnut St, Philadelphia, PA 19103 - On or about July 8, 2022, the employer did not ensure that an employee conducting facility maintenance activities from the unprotected edges of a roof of a 31 story residential apartment building, approximately 275 feet above ground level, was protected from fall hazards by the use of a fall protection system.
