29 CFR 1910.136(a):General requirements. The employer did not ensure that each affected employee used protective footwear when working in areas where there is a danger of foot injuries due to falling or rolling objects, or objects piercing the sole, and where such employee's feet are exposed to electrical hazards. WAREHOUSE: On or about July 21, 2022, the employer did not ensure the affected employee was wearing protective footwear when the worker suffered a foot injury caused by the rolling outrigger wheels of a forklift contacted the tip of his shoe.
