Except as provided elsewhere in this section or by other subparts of this part, the employer did not ensure each employee on a walking working surface 4 feet (1.2 m) or more above a lower level is protected from falling by one of the systems listed in 1910.28(b)(15)(i)-(iii). (a) On or about 07/15/2022, and at times prior to - 3450 County Road 81, Fort Payne, AL 35967, in Warehouses 8, 10, and 15, employees operating Crown Model SP Series 3500 Stock Pickers were exposed to falls of up to 16 feet to the concrete floor because they were allowed to retrieve furniture from elevated storage racks without using the provided safety harness, and/or fall arrest devices.
