29 CFR  1926.501(b)(13):  Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b):   (a)  Jobsite:  On or about 7/26/22,  an employee was working from a residential roof (5 in 12 pitch) and he was not protected from falling to the ground.  The fall hazard was approximately 20 feet.  (b)  Jobsite:  On or about 7/26/22, two employees were exposed to an approximately 12 foot fall hazard while they were working from an open sided balcony.

29 CFR  1926.1053(b)(1):  Where portable ladders were used for access to an upper landing surface and the ladder's length allows, the ladder side rails did not extend at least 3 feet (.9 m) above the upper landing surface being accessed:  (a)  Jobsite:   On or about July 26, 2022, employees were using ladders to access different working levels (balconies and scaffolding) and none of the ladders were at least 3 feet above the working level.  The fall hazard was up to about  19 feet to the ground.
