OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1):The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees: exposed to thermal burns from hot oil: On or about July 27, 2022, employees were exposed to thermal burns hazards from hot oil when standing on top of the fryers/metal trays containing hot oil while cleaning the ventilation hoods. This resulted in the employee's foot falling into the hot oil and sustaining second degree burns.
