NOTE: THE EMPLOYER IS REQUIRED TO SUBMIT ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION FOR THIS ITEM. FAILURE TO COMPLY WILL RESULT IN AN ADDITIONAL PENALTY OF $1000.00 IN ACCORDANCE WITH 29 CFR 1903.19.

29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems. a - Clubhouse, 2 Magnolia Drive, Freehold NJ: Workers engaged in receiving and the placement of roof trusses, and other related activities, were exposed to fall hazards up to and in excess 12 feet 3 inches to the ground surface below when walking and working from the top plates of a commercial structures exterior walls without the use of fall protection. Condition noted on or about 07/28/22. b - Clubhouse, 2 Magnolia Drive, Freehold NJ: Workers engaged in receiving and the placement of roof trusses, and other related activities, were exposed to fall hazards up to and in excess of 12 feet 9 inches to the ground surface below, when walking on and working from the pitched, top chord of a commercial structure's pitched roof trusses without the use of fall protection. Condition noted on or about 07/28/22. c - Clubhouse, 2 Magnolia Drive, Freehold NJ: Workers engaged in the installation of roof trusses and their purlins, were exposed to fall hazards up to 12 feet 6 inches to the concrete floor below when working/walking within and between the truss's inner chords without the use of fall protection.
