29 CFR 1926.21(b)(2): The employer did not instruct each employee in the recognition and avoidance of unsafe conditions and the regulations applicable to their environment to control or eliminate any hazards or other exposure to illness or injury: (a) On July 28,2022, at a commercial construction site located at or near 4177 South Columbia Road in Grand Forks, ND, employees operating a Makita hand-held cordless circular saw hand to cut wood were not sufficiently trained or instructed to recognize and avoid hazards such as but not limited to unsafe conditions, flying particles/debris, and struck by.
