29 CFR 1910.1000(a)(1): Employee(s) were exposed to an airborne concentration of Methylene bisphenyl isocyanate (MDI) listed in Table Z-1 in excess of the ceiling concentration of 0.2 milligrams per cubic meter: (a) On or about August 02, 2022 - Vac-Form Department, an employee was exposed to an airborne concentration of Methylene Bisphenyl Isocyanate (MDI) at 1.7 milligrams per cubic meter of air (mg/m3), approximately 8 times the permissible exposure limit (PEL) of 0.2 mg/m3. The sampling was performed during one shift on September 22, 2022 for 15 minutes.

The sampling was performed during one shift on September 22, 2022 for 15 minutes intervals. General methods of abatement include, but are not limited to: 1. Utilization of a adhesive product that does not contain isocyanate.
