29 CFR 1910.178(l)(1)(ii):  Prior to permitting an employee to operate a powered industrial truck (except for training purposes), the employer did not ensure that each operator had successfully completed the training required by 29 CFR 1910.178(l):  On or about August 2, 2022, and times prior thereto, employees of Margay Racing L.L.C. located at 3233 South Kingshighway Boulevard, Saint Louis, Missouri operated a C500-45 Clark Lift, serial number 355-158-2572, without receiving training.  The employer did not ensure that each operator had received powered industrial truck training before permitting employees to operate.

29 CFR 1910.212(a)(1):  One or more methods of machine guarding was not provided to protect the operator and other employees in the machine area from hazards such as those created by point of operation, ingoing nip points, rotating parts, flying chips and sparks:  On or about August 2, 2022, and times prior thereto, employees of Margay Racing L.L.C. located at 3233 South Kingshighway Boulevard, Saint Louis, Missouri were exposed to caught-in hazards when operating and performing work on unguarded rotating parts on the following machines: 1)	Reed Prentice Lathe, serial number 20019 2)	Nichols Miller Horizontal Mill, no serial number 3)	Bridgeport Drill Press, serial number J19089P 4)	Three Buffalo Forge No. 18 Drill Presses, no serial number 5)	Sears Craftsmen Drill Press, 8 Inch, 3 Speed, no serial number
