29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet or more above lower levels was not protected by guardrail systems, safety net systems, personal fall arrest systems, or another provision in paragraph (b) of this section which provides for an alternative fall protection measure:  (a) On or before August 2, 2022, the creating and exposing employer did not ensure employees were protected from injury, in that employees setting joists on top of the second level of a new residential home were not utilizing a fall protection system.  This condition exposed employees to fall hazards ranging from 10 feet of 20 feet.  (b) On or before August 2, 2022, the creating and exposing employer did not ensure employees were protected from injury, in that employees working on the second level of a new residential home were not utilizing a fall protection system.  This condition exposed employees to fall hazards of 20 feet.  Flores Company LLC was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number #1570812, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on 02/01/2022, with respect to a workplace located at Greyhound Park C2 project, 5391-5395 E. 63rd Place, Commerce City, CO, 80022.
