29 CFR 1910.212(a)(3)(iii): Special handtools for placing and removing material(s) were not provided to permit easy handling of material without the operator placing a hand in the danger zone: a) 601 Garaches Lane, Wilmington, DE 19801 (Detail Shop): On or about August 4, 2022 and days prior, employees did not use proper tools while lowering steel plates onto the FPB machine to avoid placing hands in fingers into areas exposing them to crushing hazards. On August 3, 2023 an employee used a 4-foot metal crowbar to leverage a 240 inch X 72 inch X 3/4 inch weighing approximately 3675 pounds to remove a block of wood used to assist in the removal of the plate dog attachment.
