29 CFR 1926.651(k)(2): Where the competent person found evidence of a situation that could result in a possible cave-in, indications of protective systems, hazardous atmospheres, or other hazardous conditions, exposed employees were not removed from the hazardous area until the necessary precautions had been made to ensure their safety: Pineland Park Rd., Milton, NH - On or about August 4, 2022, an employee was working on a water line in an excavation and was not protected from a cave in where the competent person did not correct the condition.
