29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Employees engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8m) or more above the lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems: A) 111 Hancock Ave, Seaside Heights, NJ: At this location the employer failed to ensure that each employee assigned to perform framing of a new construction home(s) were protected from falls from elevation hazard(s) when working on the second and third floor where no guardrails were installed. Condition observed on or about 11MAY22. NOTE: IN ADDITION TO ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION, THE EMPLOYER IS REQUIRED TO SUBMIT ABATEMENT DOCUMENTATION FOR THIS ITEM. FAILURE TO COMPLY WILL RESULT IN AN ADDITIONAL PENALTY OF $1000.00 IN ACCORDANCE WITH 29 CFR 1903.19.
