29 CFR 1926.501(b)(10):Each employee engaged in roofing activities on low-slope roofs, with unprotected sides and edges 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels, was not protected from falling by guardrail systems, safety net systems, personal fall arrest system. Location: On the Roof On 8/2/2022 employees were exposed to falls from heights up to 18 feet to the ground while installing asphalt roof shingles on a commercial structure where fall protection was not utilized. BDC Roofing And Home Improvements LLC was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard (1926.501(b)(13)), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1475877, citation number 1, item number 1, and was affirmed as a final order on (7/8/2020), with respect to a workplace located at290 Peckham St. Fall River, MA 02724.
