29 CFR 1926.501(b)(2)(ii): Each employee on a walking/working surface 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level where leading edges are under construction, but who was not engaged in the leading edge work, was not protected from falling by a guardrail system, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system. a) Jobsite at 1222 North 2nd St, Philadelphia, PA - On or about July 27, 2022, the employer allowed an employee on a walking/working surface approximately 16 feet from the ground level to walk beyond the safety perimeter without any fall protection system to communicate with the employer from the ground level, thereby exposing the employee to fall hazards.
