Employees were exposed to crystalline silica during brick paver cutting.

On or about August 3, 2022, sidewalk construction site, all employees who worked where crystalline silica containing brick pavers were cut with a saw, did not demonstrate knowledge and understanding of at least the information contained in paragraphs (A)-(F) of this section.

29 CFR 1910.1200(e)(1)(i): The employer did not compile a list of the hazardous chemicals known to be present using a product identifier that was referenced on the appropriate safety data sheet. On or about August 3, 2022, sidewalk construction site, a list of the hazardous chemicals known to be present was not included in the written hazard communication program. Employees were exposed to hazardous chemicals including but not limited to crystalline silica during cutting of brick.
