29 CFR  1910.132(d)(1)(iii):The employer did not select PPE that properly fit each affected employee:  a) General Technologies, Inc. on or about August 2, 2022, at the address 855 W Longview Ave, Mansfield, OH, 44906: The employer failed to select personal protection equipment (PPE) that properly fit each affected employee tasked with operating the Willis Solberga 4 Spindle Drive Drill Press in the Press Area, the employer provided loose fitting gloves that created caught in hazards at the point of operation of the unguarded spindles of the drill press resulting in fracturing injuries to fingers of an employee's hand.

29 CFR  1910.132(f)(1):The employer did not provide training to each employee who is required by this section to use personal protective equipment:  a) General Technologies, Inc. on or about August 2, 2022, at the address 855 W Longview Ave, Mansfield, OH, 44906: The employer failed to provide training on proper selection, maintenance and usage of personal protective equipment the employer required for a new hire employee tasked with operating the Willis Solberga 4 Spindle Gear Drive Drill Press in the Drill Press Area, employee was provided personal protective equipment (gloves) that did not fit properly which exposed the employee to caught in hazards while operating the drill press.  Employee's gloves became caught in the point of operation of the drill press which resulted in fracturing and laceration injuries to fingers of their left hand.
