29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1):Each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems. On or about August 10, 2022, during construction activities including but not limited to HVAC unit installation on the roof of a commercial building located at 35585 Lakeshore Blvd, Eastlake, OH 44095; the employer did not ensure employees were protected from a fall of approximately 15.1 feet by ensuring a fall protection system/device was used during a HVAC installation.
