Each employee on a steep roof with unprotected sides and edges 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels shall be protected from falling by guardrail systems with toe boards, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems.  (a)  On or about 08/10/22, at the residence of 10 Washington Street, located in Batavia, New York,  the employer did not enforce the use of fall protection for employees working 24  feet above lower levels.  Employees were allowed to install roofing materials on  a steep roof  (14-12 pitch) without fall protection and exposed to fall hazards.  NO ABATEMENT CERTIFICATIONN REQUIRED
