29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface (horizontal and vertical surface) with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems: a) Job site, 4500 Ohio River Boulevard, Bellevue, PA: On or about August 12, 2022, during construction activities, the employer did not ensure that appropriate fall protection systems/devices were used along the edge of a wall where the fall height was approximately 13 feet. b) Job site, 4500 Ohio River Boulevard, Bellevue, PA: On or about August 16, 2022, during construction activities, the employer did not ensure that appropriate fall protection systems/devices were used along the edge of a wall where the fall height was approximately 10 1/2 feet.
