29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest system, nor were an employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b): Workers were exposed to fall hazards at a worksite at 6407 E 163rd Street, Belton, MO 64012. This was last demonstrated on or about August 9, 2022, when workers were engaged in heating, ventilation, and cooling (HVAC) activities. Workers installing aluminum ductwork on building #1/4th floor were exposed to fall hazards approximately 9 feet from the edge of the rafters to the ground below. No guard rails, safety net system(s), or personal fall arrest system(s) were utilized to prevent falls.
