29 CFR 1910.147(c)(6)(i): The employer did not conduct a periodic inspection of the energy control procedure at least annually to ensure that the procedure and the requirement of this standard were being followed: a) On or about 08/17/2022, throughout the establishment; where employees perform servicing and maintenance on machines and equipment, such as, but not limited to: mechanical power presses, the employer did not review the energy control program and procedures, at least annually. Deficiencies which could have been identified included: lack of specific procedures for new/existing machines and equipment with multiple energy sources (i.e. Skroll JH21-63), and lack of periodic evaluation of employees performing servicing and /or maintenance covered under the standard. ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION REQUIRED
