29 CFR  1926.501(b)(13): Employees engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8m) or more above the lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems:  a) 3177 Egret Rum Unit 19 and 26, Gulf Shores, AL; On or about August 16, 2022, and at times prior, the employer failed to ensure employees installing trusses over the front entrance on a residential construction site were protected from falls of 23 feet 6 inches to the ground below due to no fall protection being used.  Gulf Coast Carpentry, Inc was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.501 (b)(13) October 23, 2019, which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1439663, citation number 2, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on (November 13, 2019), with respect to a workplace located at 23063 Perdido Beach Blvd. Model Home Orange Beach, AL 36561.  Gulf Coast Carpentry, Inc was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.501 (b)(13) April 23, 2019, which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1395173, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on (June 11, 2019), with respect to a workplace located at 29201 North Bayshore Drive,  Orange Beach, AL 36561.
