OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1):Section 5(a)(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970: The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which was free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to struck-by and caught-in between hazards from a rotating auger.  A private residence located at 153 Parsonage Street, Rocky Hill, CT:  On or about August 19, 2022 employees at the Rocky Hill, CT fence installation project were exposed to struck-by and caught-in between hazards from a 2019 Bobcat auger (Model# 300A, SN 944532460).  The improperly installed rotating auger separated from the Bobcat skid loader (Model # S530, SN 616027) striking an employee.  The rotating auger struck the employee's leg resulting in serious injury.
