1926.600(a)(6)(i): The employer failed to maintain the required clearance of 10 feet between lines rated at 50kV or below and any part of the crane or load:  (a)Siteworks, Inc. at the Intersection of 57th Street and South Mellenberndt Place, Sioux Falls, SD 57106: On or about, and at times prior to August 18, 2022, the employer did not ensure that a clearance of at least 10 feet was maintained at all times between energized electrical power lines rated at 50kV or below and any part of the crane or load. This condition exposed employees to electrical shock and electrocution hazards while conducting trenching operations.

1926.600(a)(6)(iv): The employer did not designate a paerson to observe clearance of the equipment and give timely warning for all operations where it is difficult for the operator to maintain the desired clearance by visual means:   (a) SiteWorks, Inc. at the Intersection of 57th Street and South Mellenberndt Place, Sioux Falls, SD 57106: On or about, and at times  prior to August 18, 2022, the employer did not ensure than an observed was designated to observe clearance of the equipment and give timely warning to the equipment operator while conducting trenching operations in close proximity to energized power lines. This condition exposed employees to electrical shock and electrocution hazards while conducting trenching operations.
