29 CFR 1926.102(a)(1):The employer did not ensure that each affected employee use appropriate eye or face protection when exposed to eye or face hazards from flying particles, molten metal, liquid chemicals, acids or caustic liquids, chemical gases or vapors or potentially injurious light radiation. (a) New residential construction; Lot #6, Top plates; On or about 08/18/2022, and at times prior, the employer exposed employees to struck-by hazards while operating pneumatic framing nailers, in that protective eyewear was not provided to employees installing roof trusses with these tools at 100 PSI. The Mario Mendoza was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard (29 CFR 1926.102(a)(1)), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1377622, citation number 1, item number 1and was affirmed as a final order on 08-14-2019, with respect to a workplace located at (Lot #56) 210 Charleston Drive, Senoia, GA 30276.

29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13):Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b): (a) New residential construction; Lot #6, Top plates: On or about 08/18/2022, and at times prior, the employer exposed employees to fall hazards of approximately 15-feet, in that a fall protection system was not provided to employees installing roof trusses on the front and rear top plates of the structure. The Mario Mendoza was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard (29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1377622, citation number 1, item number 2 and was affirmed as a final order on 08-14-2019, with respect to a workplace located at (Lot #56) 210 Charleston Drive, Senoia, GA 30276.
