29 CFR 1926.451(c)(2)(i): Footings were not level, sound, rigid, and capable of supporting the loaded scaffold without settling or displacement. On or about 5/10/2022, Francisco Diego's employees were actively installing siding on a residence located at 406 Knothole Lane in Wentzville, Mo. One employee worked from the pump jack scaffolding. Two out of three poles supporting the pump jack scaffolding were not on level and sound footings to prevent displacement. The three pump jack scaffolding poles were also not secured by triangular bracing to prevent displacement.

29 CFR 1926.451(g)(1): Each employee on a scaffold more than 10 feet (3.1 m) above a lower level was not protected from falling to that lower level. Paragraphs (g)(1)(i) through (vii) of this section establish the types of fall protection to be provided to the employees on each type of scaffold. Paragraph (g)(2) of this section addresses fall protection for scaffold erectors and dismantlers. Note to paragraph (g)(1): The fall protection requirements for employees installing suspension scaffold support systems on floors, roofs, and other elevated surfaces are set forth in subpart M of this part. On or about 5/10/2022, Francisco Diego's employees were actively installing siding on a residence located at 406 Knothole Lane in Wentzville, MO. One employee was working from pump jack scaffolding on the side of the residence, 10-12 feet above the ground, without utilizing fall protection.
