29 CFR  1926.100(a):Employees working in areas where there was a possible danger of head injury from impact, or falling or flying objects, or from electrical shock and burns, were not protected by protective helmets:  Worksite located at 231 E. 18th St., North Kansas City, Missouri- Employees were exposed to possible head trauma or fall related  head injury. The employees were installing metal railing and were working on their knees and could strike the metal when they stood up and cause trauma to their heads.

29 CFR  1926.501(b)(1):Each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems:   Worksite located at 231 E. 18th St., North Kansas City, Missouri- Employees were exposed to fall hazards while working on the edge of the building and were not protected from falling by the use of any means of fall protection.
