29 CFR  1910.265(c)(20)(i):Design, construction, and maintenance. Blower collecting, and exhaust systems were not designed, constructed, and maintained in accordance with American National Standards Z33.1-1961 (For the Installation of Blower and Exhaust Systems for Dust, Stock, and Vapor Removal or Conveying) and Z12.2-1962 (R1969) (Code for the Prevention of Dust Explosion in Woodworking and Wood Flour Manufacturing Plants), which are incorporated by reference as specified in Sec. 1910.6.  On or about August 23th , 2022, employer did not maintain the dust collection system in accordance to the ANSI Standard Z33.1-1961 and Z12.20 in areas such as but not limited:  1) ANSI Z33.1- 1961 under section 211 states:  All electrical equipment shall be installed in accordance with the National Electrical Code. (Liquid-tight tubing  on electrical system was damaged for vacuum blower motor)  2) ANSI Z12.20 -1962(R69) under section 427 states: The main suction and discharge ducts should be made as short as practicable. To provide access for sweeping and cleaning, ducts should not be less than 6 inches above the floor at every point, and not closer than 6 inches at any ceiling. (Ducts were resting on concrete pad)   These conditions exposed employees to fire and explosion hazards.
