29 CFR  1926.303(b)(1): Grinding machines were not equipped with safety guards in conformance with the requirements of ANSI B7.1-1970, Safety Code for the Use, Care, and Protection of abrasive wheels, and paragraph (d) of this section.   Location - Ground floor of Building #4, 29 Wells Ave, Yonkers, NY  a) On or about August 24, 2022, an employee was using a battery powered DeWalt 5" handheld grinder without a guard. The employer did not ensure the grinder was equipped with safety guards.  b) On or about August 24, 2022, an employee was using a corded DeWalt 4 1/2" handheld grinder without a guard. The employer did not ensure the grinder was equipped with safety guards.

29 CFR  1926.351(b)(4): Welding cable(s) in use were in need of repair:  Location - Ground floor of Building #4, 29 Wells Ave, Yonkers, NY  a) On or about August 24, 2022, an employee was using a Miller CST 282 welding machine which had cables in need  of repair. The employer did not provide cables free from need of repair to employees who were welding.
