29 CFR 1926.453(b)(2)(v): A body belt was not worn and/or a lanyard was not attached to the boom or basket when working from an aerial lift: a) Wood's Mercantile located at 1475 N. Washington Street, Clarkesville, Georgia 30523, Front side of commercial building: On or about August 29, 2022, and at times prior, employees performing EIFS work were exposed to an ejection/fall hazard of 11 to 15-feet to the paved parking lot below, in that the employer did not ensure that the fall restraint system was attached to the anchor point of the aerial lift basket.

29 CFR 1926.152(a)(1): Containers other than approved metal safety cans or DOT-approved containers were used for the handling and use of flammable liquids in quantities of 5 gallons or less: a) Wood's Mercantile located at 1475 N. Washington Street, Clarkesville, Georgia 30523, Front side of commercial building: On or about August 29, 2022, and at times prior, employees performing EIFS work were exposed to potential fire/burn hazards where diesel was stored in a 5-gallon, red plastic container provided by the employer which was not DOT approved.
