29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface (horizontal and vertical surface) with an unprotected side or edge which is 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems. a) On August 26, 2022 and times prior an employee was installing house wrap material from a flat roof on a commercial construction jobsite, without fall protection. This exposed the worker to a 22-foot fall to the ground below. Woodland & Associates, Inc was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29CFR 1926.501(b)(10), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1482741, citation number 1, item number 1a, and was affirmed as a final order on September 3, 2020, with respect to a workplace located at 4120 Challenger Way, Caldwell, ID 83605. Note: Certification of corrective actions AND supporting documentation are required for this item.
